Dr Jeffrey H. Kingston is an Honorary Associate and former Associate Professor of the School of Information Technologies at the University of Sydney, Australia (http://www.cs.usyd.edu.au). He has been investigating timetabling problems since 1991 and is a founding member of the Steering Committee of the Practice and Theory of Automated Timetabling conference series, the only international conference series devoted to timetabling (http://www.asap.cs.nott.ac.uk).

Dr Kingston continues to pursue academic aspects of timetabling and is involved with Edval as an occasional academic research associate.
