Chris Cooper JP has been involved in timetabling for many years, joining Edval as a consultant in 1999. Chris has an extensive background in education and training, across a wide variety of areas. He is a former Special Forces soldier, qualified as a training instructor across many different fields including Mountain Warfare, explosives and many more. Chris has also worked in the IT sector for many years, including in geographical information and positioning systems, and been heavily involved in training in these products. He has also been involved in the investigation industry for over a decade, including acting in a training role.
Chris has written a very large educational manual for fraud investigators, which is now used as the primary training material for a number of courses around Australia. His book was accredited by the Australian Government as a recognised training resource, and is used extensively by TAFE and other investigative courses.
Chris is the Senior Edval consultant in NSW, providing direct support to schools in generating their requirements file and submitting timetables for auto-completion. He is also a competent Edval trainer and is also heavily involved in curriculum modelling and consulting to schools on many different issues which are related to timetabling.
Chris is a highly motivated and talented individual, capable of solving problems in a very lateral manner, and enjoying the challenge of this unusual work.
