Educated at Oxford and Durham Universities (England), Cathy is a qualified Science teacher with a passion for teaching and learning. She has held the positions of Science Co-ordinator, Senior School Learning and Wellbeing Facilitator and Timetabler before joining Edval. In partnership with her Science faculty, she helped to develop an innovative new curriculum for Science which led to a reversal of the national trends in the uptake of Science study in senior school. The new curriculum consisted of termly Science electives however, which caused problems with timetabling. A software package was sought which would enable the school to realise its vision for its students, without artificial constraints. The solution was Edval.
Cathy is passionate about putting students first and joined the Edval team to enable more schools to do just that.
