Edval automatically assigns staff duties according to your rules. Specify that staff can’t be allocated a duty if they have no free period on that day. Specify that staff can’t be allocated lunch duty in both halves of lunch. All duties can be easily manually adjusted, but this is not normally required as Edval usually gets everything right in the first place!
